The OnePlus 7 Pro's 3x zoom isn't misleading, just confusing

As reported by Android Police, the mysterious ghost touches don't seem to correspond to one particular app or one particular scenario - it's nearly like they come out of nowhere. If you install these apps on other phone models, you may face some issues while using it. OnePlus 7 Pro is undoubtedly a worthy flagship and minor issues with the flagship can not taint its reputation.

Several OnePlus 7 Pro users are complaining about a new issue on their latest smartphone.

This is obviously annoying and OnePlus has announced it's investigating the matter, urging people who see this problem to report it immediately via the OnePlus Community app or the feedback section of its forums.

Meanwhile, OnePlus 7 Pro users have taken to the company's forum to report the issue. The OnePlus 7 Pro is already available via Amazon India, while the standard OnePlus 7 will go on sale sometime in June. Camera zoom samples were shown off.

The second handy software feature offered by the OnePlus 7 Pro comes in the form of its built-in screen recorder. Now, a new report suggests that the OnePlus 5 and the OnePlus 5T smartphones will receive Android Q update by the end of 2019. That is odd considering the fact that both of the modes use the telephoto lens which doesn't explain why the image in Portrait mode is wider than the zoomed picture. For example, the Huawei P30 does 3X Optical zoom and 5X lossless Hybrid Zoom, while the P30 Pro has 5X Optical Zoom and 10X lossless Hybrid zoom. However, it has been found that the telephoto camera actually has a 13-megapixel sensor that can only zoom optically up to 2.2 times.

OnePlus are advertising the camera as having 3x optical zoom but users have noticed that when using the portrait mode 3x optical zoom at 13MP is not possible.

A OnePlus employee responded on a thread on Reddit and said the camera team already working on the fixes. We have been waiting for this update and our full review of the handset will be live in the next couple of days after testing the cameras.

OnePlus advertises the telephoto lens with a 78mm focal length, and that's in line with what you'd expect from a 3x optical zoom lens.
