'Avengers: Endgame' Makes Box Office History With $1.2 Billion Global Opening

In 2017, Baahubali 2 set a record by achieving 11.5-million-U.S. -dollar box office in its first two days of the release.

On top of the record-breaking Thursday night preview numbers, Avengers: Endgame has landed a $350 million opening weekend in the United States, almost $100 million more than the previous record set by Avengers: Infinity War with $257.6 million.

"Avengers: Endgame" is expected to surpass it.

Walt Disney Studios and Marvel Studios have announced the record-shattering Avengers Endgame box office numbers from the film's opening weekend, and the totals are staggering. Infinity War also previously held the record in Canada for biggest opening weekend, which Endgame has now eclipsed.

The records are breaking in the USA, as well.

"We're looking at more than 30 million American and more than 100 million global guests that experienced "Endgame" on the big screen in one weekend", Fithian said. The movie has been making new records at the box-office in India after it hit the theaters on April 26, 2019.

The Russo brothers are the main mastermind behind the awesome movie Avengers: Endgame along with three other Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) movies namely Avengers: Infinity War, Captain America: Winter Soldier and Captain America: Civil War.
