Kim Kardashian explains her freaky bathroom sinks after the Internet freaks out

Last week Kardashian, 38, revealed a bathroom that features sinks with no basins in her 73 Questions interview with Vogue, and now she's explaining her unique décor to perplexed fans.

She described weekends spent away from her husband, rapper Kanye West, and their children while she studies and reads. The free-standing block provoked queries on how it drains - is it self absorbent, does the water overflow like a waterfall, and so forth.

She also showed their massive bathtub, shower, their patio that is outside of the bathroom and of course the sinks that caused so many questions and confusion.

"There's a slit for the water", she added as she moved to open the handle for the water to flow.

In the video she posted she confirmed that one fan's theory was right and that there was a tiny drain: "Okay, so since everyone's a little bit confused about our sinks, I thought I would just show you guys a little tour of our bathroom".

Kim Kardashian's is explaining those wild bathroom sinks. Many took to Twitter asking how the heck their set-up worked.

The "ultra-minimalist" installations were created by West, the couple's interior designer Axel Vervoordt and architect Claudio Silvestrin. "You can put it on as high pressure as you want and no back splash".

Well, with that mystery solved, Kardashian moved on to the odd trio of buttons jutting out from the wall, which also perplexed fans.

Even the light switches are unusual.

"It does actually like slightly slope down".

And Robert Shapiro, who defended O.J. Simpson alongside Kim's late father Robert Kardashian, says that if and when she passes the bar she will always have a job at his law firm.
