OnePlus 7 Pro to reportedly come with Quad HD+ display

Besides, new case renders of the OnePlus 7 Pro have surfaced online, showing what could be the possible design of the device.

However, the Pro and Pro 5G versions will cost more, potentially as high as £599 and £699.

Over on Twitter, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau himself (@petelau2007), shared the good news.

Android Central, in collaboration with Ishan Agrawal, has revealed a few key specifications of the allegedly upcoming OnePlus 7 Pro. For the OnePlus 7 this is also expected to be possible in the United States, though the 5G version will not go on sale there, according to the company.

As far as optics go, the OnePlus 7 Pro will come with three rear sensors which means it will sport a wide-angle lens, a telephoto lens and an ultra-wide angle sensor. If you are looking forward to the launch of the latest OnePlus device, then you should stick through this article as we cover all that has been revealed about the latest flagship by OnePlus.

The year 2019 could see three variants of OnePlus smartphones.

At MWC we caught a glimpse of this 5G phone behind glass, but very little was given away.

We expect that OnePlus 7 Pro will share the same specification as the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G, but with the exception of 5G.

Perhaps more interestingly though, Agarwal also said the OnePlus 7 Pro will have a Super AMOLED display with a Quad HD+ resolution, which would be a first for OnePlus, and a 90Hz refresh rate. As early as November a year ago, we've been hearing discussions about the next-gen OnePlus device after the OnePlus 6T. This might be a hint at the triple camera setup on OnePlus 7 that was leaked a long time ago through 3D image renders and case renders. There's no headphone jack in sight. The triple-lens camera at the back may consist of 48MP+16MP+8MP sensors.

OnePlus 7 is also tipped to move from UFS 2.1 to UFS 3.0 storage, which is more than two times faster. As of now, information regarding this is pretty slim, but considering that the OnePlus 6T McLaren edition had it, it's safe to assume that the Pro will come with it as well. It may also not have wireless charging yet.
