Suspect in Nipsey Hussle killing charged with murder

The man who police believe shot and killed LA rapper Nipsey Hussle earlier this week has been charged with murder and attempted murder.

Eric Holder has entered a plea of not guilty.

During the court proceedings, Holder agreed to delay his next court proceeding until May 10.Holder is set to face life in prison and his bail is set at $5 million.

The man accused of killing rapper Nipsey Hussle has officially been charged.

Darden asked Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Teresa Sullivan to ban cameras from the courtroom, a request she denied. Holder was arrested on Tuesday in Bellflower, California.

The Grammy-nominated artist was gunned down near his clothing store in Los Angeles on Sunday.

Eric Holder, 29, who was arrested and charged with the shooting death of Hussle, will have Chris Darden defending him.

Authorities say Holder got into an argument with Hussle, who was beloved by residents of his neighbourhood for his community work, and then left and returned with a handgun. The attempted murder charges are for the alleged shootings of the two other victims, Kerry Lathan and Shermi Cervabta Villanueva. The Victory Lap rapper owns the clothing store as well as other businesses in the community. Though both men had gang affiliations, the motive for the shooting does not appear to be gang-related. The rapper was recently added to a mural in Los Angeles right beside James and Snoop Dogg.

J Roc said he would look out for Hussle's wife, Lauren London, and two children moving forward.
