‘Call of Duty: Mobile’ Announced: Free-To-Play Game For Android, iOS

Fans of the franchise have been clamoring a proper mobile release, and today, Activision announced that Call of Duty: Mobile is coming to previously unannounced regions, including North America, South America, Europe, and more. With all that is going on with Activision recently, it appears that those days are gone but that won't stop the company from releasing a new Call of Duty game for mobile, the aptly named Call of Duty: Mobile.

Team up with your friends in the online mode that redefined Call of Duty by introducing killstreaks, XP, Prestige and more in customisable, classic multiplayer modes.

The Call of Duty games have been some of the most successful on consoles for over a decade, and now they're making the jump to mobile.

"Together with the fantastic team at Tencent, we're bringing together a collection of the most beloved maps, competitive modes, familiar characters and signature weapons from across this storied franchise into one epic experience for the first time on mobile".

"With our expertise creating games custom-built for mobile players, we're excited to deliver a new, feature-packed Call of Duty experience that all types of fans will enjoy".

If you can't wait to play Call of Duty: Mobile, you can register at the game's website. Will Call of Duty: Mobile be as disruptive as, let's say, PUBG Mobile? Android users can also pre-register on the Play Store.

You can now register for a pre-launch beta version of the game via the Call of Duty: Mobile website and Google Play. A promotional image (see above) was supposedly leaked before being quickly debunked, but one site in particular is claiming to know lots of details about the unconfirmed title. While we can't be sure, it looks like Zombies will also be available in Call of Duty: Mobile. There is no mention of a Battle Royale mode just yet.
