Fortnite Mobile Patch Brings Bluetooth Controller Support

Bluetooth controllers are now supported on the Android and iOS versions of "Fortnite", developer noted in its latest patch notes. The latest Fortnite V7.30 patch is bringing a long-requested feature by the community. On the Android side of things, Epic Games says that most available Bluetooth game controllers will work including the Xbox One Wireless Controller, SteelSeries Stratus XL, Gamevice, Razer Raiju and Moto Gamepad. On iOS, all MFi controllers should be compatible, like Steelseries Nimbus and Gamevice. In other words: you can't just hook up any controller with your iPhone or iPad and win away.

We are rolling out 60Hz support (to be enabled in settings) on select Android devices.

Creative mode also gets a few shiny new playthings - Piano Keys and Music Blocks are here to help you unleash your inner musician and there's Arctic Base Prefabs that allow you to create your own winter wonderland.

Also included in this patch is a new Chiller Grenade, which looks like a severed snowman head-just toss it at enemies to freeze them.

Fortnite is now available on Windows, macOS, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, iOS, and select Android powered smartphones.

The main additions to Battle Royale are the Chiller Grenade and Mobile Controller Support. Now after the update players can make use of real thumbsticks and buttons using an external add on controller providing a much more tactile feel to the players. Every single weapon drop you pick up is Legendary and you'll receive way more materials from gathering.

The Chiller Grenade knocks players back and causes them to slide along the ground.

Can be found from Floor Loot and Vending Machines. This means you'll have far more opportunities to find powerful weapons and items than you normally would.
