Steph Curry Involved in Multi-Car Accident

According to reports, Steph Curry of the Golden State Warriors got into a nasty multi-car accident and was hit twice in the madness.

KGO reported that it happened just before 9 a.m. on westbound Highway 24 in Oakland, Calif.

The 30-year-old is recovering from a groin injury and is not expected to play against the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday night.

California Highway Patrol Officer Herman Baza said Curry stopped in the centre median and as he waited for officers to arrive, another sedan lost control and rear-ended his Porsche.

Stephen Curry has been out these past few weeks due to a groin injury.

CHP told ABC7 that weather likely played a role in this accident.

Curry will be re-evaluated on Saturday, and though he won't be playing in the upcoming games, the team seems to be confident in his recovery.

Curry's vehicle was damaged, but everyone appears to be fine.

His father, former National Basketball Association player Dell Curry, told KTVU in the Bay Area after the collision that his son was not injured.

"He's OK", Curry's father Dell Curry reacted to the crash.
