Mate 20 series unwrapped by Huawei at London launch

The Mate 20 is powered by a large 5,000mAh battery. This is Face ID-like in its setup, and we'll have to see how well it performs when reviews start to roll in. As for the Mate 20 X, it'll be available in purple and blue. They've included a crowd-pleasing camera upgrade, a record-breaking display, but in line with this and their slick, modern look, with a chassis in five colours that is waterproof, dust-proof, and anti-slip, they also made good on their promise to amp up the power.

As expected, Huawei has fitted the Mate 20 Pro with its brand-new, 7nm Kirin 980 processor paired with 6GB of RAM. A 4200mAh battery keeps this handset juiced up and it comes with a 40WHuawei SuperCharge charger. Smartphone Huawei Mate 20 is 800 euros, and for Huawei Mate 20 will be asked at least 1,050 euros.

The Huawei Mate 20 runs Android 9.0 Pie with EMUI 9.0 on top.

The new Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro both house dual neural processing units (NPU) for the first time, which use artificial intelligence to split the processing tasks of the device between them.

The Mate 20 X (above) is probably the weirdest of the bunch thanks to its very big 7.2-inch 1080p OLED display.

Huawei Watch GT was detailed by the tech giant alongside the Mate 20 Pro at its recent London keynote and boasts a ton of useful functions. This handset too gets the triple-camera system, however, it features a 16MP ultra wide-angle 17mm sensor with a F/2.2 aperture, a 12MP wide-angle 27mm sensor with F/1.8 aperture and an 8MP 2X telephoto 52mm sensor with OIS and F2.4 aperture.

Both phones come with a 24 MP front-facing camera, more than enough for folks who love taking selfies.

The HUAWEI Mate 20 Series is powered by Huawei's densest and highest performing system on chip (SoC) to date-the Kirin 980.

The Huawei Mate 20 comes at a starting price of Euro 799 (about 335,000 Naira) for the 4GB RAM + 128GB internal storage variant, and Euro 849 (about 356,000 Naira) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB internal storage variant.
