Jose Mourinho considering signing Zlatan Ibrahimovic in January 2019

Former Manchester United striker Louis Saha has criticised compatriot Paul Pogba for putting pressure on manager Jose Mourinho after claiming that his side should attack more following their 1-1 draw with Wolves.

While Pogba probably has a longer term future at United than Mourinho, it's not positive news to hear that a player seemingly has more power than the manager.

The enigmatic 37-year-old Swedish marksman previously worked under Mourinho at Serie A giants Inter Milan before reuniting with him in Manchester in 2016.

According to Calciomercato, the United board are already preparing for life after Mourinho, and have contacted Allegri's entourage to discuss whether the Juve manager would be interested in moving to England.

"As a leader you can talk on the pitch but I've seen leaders who didn't necessarily talk".

"Fortunately for me, you look at the best managers over the last 25-30 years".

Speaking to BetHard, Swedish superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovic expressed his thoughts regarding his former gaffer, as he stated: "I think he has the ability to win [the Premier League]".

"He's proven it for so long, you know?"

"But, of course, now, just like when I set out to be a footballer when I was a bit younger and you're on that first step of the ladder, that's the target and you try to be as good as you can be. I think they've got the right man who can handle that sort of situation".

"I think time will tell with that one, really", Carrick said of management.

The World Cup holders take on the likes of Iceland (October 11) and Germany (October 16) in the next few days before the players return to their respective clubs.

The LA Galaxy striker further added: "But a coach is only as good as his team, so it's not like he can do miracles if the team is not good enough".

"I think the World Cup is the ideal habitat for a player like him to give the best".
