6 suspects in NJ, 2 in NYC arrested for Bronx murder

The six suspects in New Jersey were expected to be returned to NY and face arraignment in the Bronx on Wednesday, Clark said.

Eight men have been connected in connection to the murder, CBS News reports (including one who, the Post says, was caught thanks to his saggy pants), and disturbing surveillance footage has been unveiled showing Guzman-Feliz's final moments-in which he twice entered a store looking for help and was denied, Fox News reports.

The murder sparked outrage in the community that has built into an online movement.

The wake for 15-year-old Lesandro Guzman-Feliz drew thousands of people on Monday, just five days after he was killed outside of a bodega in the Bronx. He staggered back into the bodega for help then, after not getting the help he so desperately needed, sprinted toward a hospital three blocks away.

News of the new arrest came as a New Jersey judge ordered the extradition of six suspects captured in Paterson Sunday.

The NYPD arrested Kevin Alvarez, 19, of the Bronx, on Sunday.

According to the New York Post, the tragedy unfolded because Guzman-Feliz resembled a young man in a sex video.

Since the news broke, several other celebrities have sounded off of the slaying as well, taking to their social media to write touching messages reflecting on the news. The chief of detectives, Dermot F. Shea, said the case showed how the police and the public could work together to fight crime and violent gangs. Bronx teen murder suspect jeered at police precinct: A growing memorial of candles and photos now sits outside the deli on East 183rd Street and Bathgate Avenue, a tribute to the 15-year-old affectionately known as Junior.

"They have to make sure when they kill someone they have the right person", Lesandro's mother, Leandra Feliz, told ABC 7.

He spent a great deal of time with the Explorers program sponsored by the New York Police Department (NYPD) that specializes in mentoring and encouragement from officers.

All face the same charges including murder, manslaughter and gang assault. Take it outside!' Before the killers get in, my son was hiding inside the store. "Our school is a family and losing a wonderful 15-year-old boy to senseless violence is hard for us to understand", the school added. "The police are doing a great job with the arrests and I hope that they continue to go to the end and find all of the people who were involved", Feliz said. Over the weekend, hundreds gave to the family's GoFundMe page, including Cardi who donated more than $8,000 alone to the family for funeral costs, according to Vibe.
