Manchester City to start title defence at Arsenal

The first Manchester derby (City at home) is on November 10th.

It will be the final game of pre-season for both sides, with Chelsea slated to face Manchester City in the Community Shield at Wembley four days later.

Championship-winning Wolves have a home opener against Everton, before trips to Leicester and West Ham sandwich the visit of Manchester City to Molineux.

Fulham's first game back in the Premier League sees former boss Roy Hodgson make the short trip across London with his Crystal Palace side.

They had the option of returning to Wembley, where they played all of their 2017-18 home games, or reversing all of their early home fixtures, but Mauricio Pochettino was wary of starting the season with a run of games on the road.

BT Sport will be showing 42 exclusively live Premier League fixtures in the 2018/19 season for the last time before that figure then rises to 52 for the 2019/20 campaign.

Cardiff start at Bournemouth and have Newcastle at home and Huddersfield away, before the visit of Arsenal.

The traditional Premier League 'Clasico' between Liverpool and United is due to be staged at Anfield on December 15, with the return taking place at Old Trafford on February 23.

They begin their Premier League season at home to West Ham before facing Crystal Palace, Brighton and Leicester.

The fixture will be Unai Emery's first competitive match as Gunners manager.

The redeveloped White Hart Lane will not be ready for the start of the season, so their first home game against the Cottagers will be played at the national stadium.

It is now all about which of them can navigate their programme best - but none of them will want to be in Arsenal's shoes at the beginning of August.
