Trump escalates fight with ABC after Roseanne cancellation

The ABC hit show, which was scrapped in response to Roseanne Barr's racist tweets and cable channels has since pulled re-runs from syndication.

"I would rather say nothing than cause more trouble", Goodman told Entertainment Tonight while exiting an auto fix shop in New Orleans.

"Bob Iger of ABC called Valerie Jarrett to let her know that "ABC does not tolerate comments like those" made by Roseanne Barr", Trump tweeted Wednesday.

However, as Barr's Right-wing supporters began complaining about "the liberal media" taking her down for being an ardent Donald Trump supporter, the comedian ditched her promise to leave Twitter and instead began re-sharing conspiracy theories about her ouster.

Barr also tweeted at former fellow cast member Michael Fishman, who played her son on the show: "You throw me under the bus. nice!"

But Goodman did not seem too concerned, telling Entertainment Tonight he was doing fine since hearing about Roseanne's ending, and that he did not follow Twitter controversies. Goodman, 65, plays Dan Conner, the working-class dad on "Roseanne", a character he first made famous in 1988 and revisited earlier this year when the show was rebooted by ABC.

"I said look, someone has got to tell her that Donald Trump doesn't carry his own phone". In her tweet, Barr had stated that former advisor to President Barack Obama Valerie Jarrett, who is African-American and was born in Iran, is the result of if "Muslim Brotherhood and Planet of the Apes had a baby". I will examine all of my options carefully and get back to U'.

Roseanne has not yet responded to Trump's comment regarding her firing from ABC, although she did retweet his statement.

"I believe in one law for all people, I love all people have a nice day", Roseanne said.

She also sent a message directly to Jarret, offering her apology.

In the video footage obtained by ET, Goodman said he was not paying much attention to the Barr debacle, claiming that he was not reading or following the news. She wrote, as CNN reports:"guys I did something unforgivable, so do not defend me. I think that is why I am so glad to be here this evening talking with all of you".

Barr has posted more than a hundred tweets since "Roseanne" was canceled, and many of them are defiant.

"They muster up their folk to make thousands of calls to take ppl off the airwaves", Barr claimed. I was still wrong 2 dehumanize them-they r not my enemy, harboring hate & anger is my enemy.
