The Queen and members of the royal family are guests of honour at the celebration, which is being billed as The Queen's Birthday Party. Many Canadians feel a warm affection for the Queen and a deep appreciation for her devotion to duty.

Elizabeth was born April 21, 1926, and became queen in 1952 at the age of 25, meaning she has now reigned for more than 66 years.

While the concert featured performances from Sting, Shaggy, and Kylie Minogue, it also featured several pieces from classical musicals.

With their royal wedding less than one month away on the 19th of May, Prince Happy and Meghan Markle had a special date night at the Queen's 92nd birthday which was yesterday.

The couple, who will Wednesday on May 19, looked happily in love at the event.

The Duchess of Cambridge was noticeably absent as she awaits the birth of her third child any day now. He is recovering from hip replacement surgery.

Last week, she attended the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting, which brought together the leaders of 53 countries, including former British colonies.

A host of stars have entertained the Queen to help celebrate the world's oldest monarch's 92nd birthday.

The Queen celebrates two birthdays every year: Her actual birthday on April 21, which she usually marks privately with her family, and her "official birthday" in the summer.

The Queen also has an "official" birthday in June, which is marked with a large parade of soldiers through central London, known as Trooping the Colour.
