KGI Analyst Says No In-Display Fingerprint Sensor For Galaxy Note 9

The smartphone will show, most likely in August of this year, but we can already guess what awaits us all the same Samsung S9 in a more rigorous design and with nearly identical innards, except that the display will do a little more.

"We therefore encourage Samsung fans to set up price alerts to track when the Galaxy S9's price drops to ensure they are getting the best deal".

The KGI analysis reported that Samsung may be skipping this feature for the Note 9 because current ultrasonic and optical sensing solutions do not "meet Samsung's technical requirements". What's more, the location of the rear-mounted fingerprint sensor on Samsung's Galaxy S8, and now the S9, was one of the chief criticisms of that device.

Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus comes with a 6.2-inch S-AMOLED display, 8-core processor, 6GB of RAM, LTE Cat.18 connectivity, and 64GB or 256GB.

Last year's Galaxy S8's preorder was the best preorder deal that Samsung has ever made, and not to forget to mention the Note 8's insane RM600 rebate.

"Sell now and you'll get a better deal".

Samsung has released a routine maintenance update for the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus, according to SamMobile, created to improve on a number of the pre-release software's (the build reviewers have been using) shortcomings. It expects it to be a sign of Samsung's goal of tightening its grip on the large-sized smartphone sector, rather than a hint that it'll come with pointy corners and be exclusive to Netflix.

Samsung, however, hopes that Samsung sales will eventually recover and hit the targeted level, even though, now, the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus preorders are disappointing.
