Hazard: This season is different

Chelsea talisman, Eden Hazard has expressed concern over the brilliant form of the Barcelona ace, Lionel Messi ahead of their UEFA Champions League ties.

Antonio Conte's job at Stamford Bridge is hanging by a thread.

That refresh has not gone entirely to plan, with Conte falling under ever-increasing pressure after seeing his side hit a serious slump which has uncomfortable questions being asked of the playing and coaching staff.

But with European commitments adding to their domestic duties, Chelsea have struggled to maintain their form from last season, sitting fourth in the Premier League after successive defeats against Bournemouth and Watford.

"I think the Premier League is hard".

With the 2018-19 campaign winding down, the race to qualify for next season's Champions League is on with six points separating sixth and third place.

"We changed a couple of things, we lost players, we bought some new ones and every year is different", Hazard told ESPN FC, with the Blues having replaced Diego Costa and Nemanja Matic with Alvaro Morata and Tiemoue Bakayoko.

"That's why we love football. I'm pretty sure we can beat them if we play together". That's why football is special. This year we have less time to be ready for the games.

"We still have both the FA Cup and the Champions and in the end, our season can still have a good ending".

"From the start of my experience with Chelsea they try to stay behind me in every game and they continue to do this and I am happy and proud for this".
