Alphabet Inc (GOOGL) Is Working On Another Paid YouTube Music Service

Warner Music Group, one of the world's three major record labels, has already signed on, said the people, who asked not to be identified discussing private talks. The service focused more on videos than music, however. The service is expected to feature on-demand music just like the popular service, Spotify.

Reuters/Lucy NicholsonRemix will be the third attempt by YouTube's parent company Alphabet Inc.at a music streaming service.

Right now there's no rumored price point for the cost if this new service, and there likely won't be until it gets closer to the rumored launch date.

As this wasn't as successful among the users as its competitors, the company tried again with YouTube Music Key in 2014, which turned into YouTube Red in 2016.

The project, dubbed "Remix" internally, will combine the aspects of streaming and videos that are offered by Google Play Music and YouTube, for a more unique user experience. Additionally, you will also be able to stream out that particular music from the YouTube app.

This rollout is part of a massive global push that started over a year ago, TechCrunch reports.

"Music is very important to Google and we're evaluating how to bring together our music offerings to deliver the best possible product for our users, music partners and artists".

However, the service will require a few things before you can make use of it. YouTube is also in talks with the two others, Sony Music Entertainment and Universal Music Group, and Merlin, a consortium of independent labels, the people said. Amazon is a pioneer in cloud services via Amazon Web Services, while Google too has made inroads in cloud computing by leveraging its knowledge in AI (artificial intelligence) and machine learning.

If you have anything to share, feel free to let us know in the comments section given below this post. After this, the service was rolled out to a few more markets like the U.K., Germany, Austria, and Japan.
