World War Z Video Game Announced at The Game Awards 2017

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds was nominated for a few accolades last night during the annual Game Awards, but the game's only award wasn't handed out during the show.

The Game Awards are about to begin, but host Geoff Keighley is already going in on the "World Premiere" announcements. In an attempt to further differentiate the game, developers Epic took to the Games Awards to announce a new 50 vs 50 mode for the title.

New update, which will add the desert map, for PUBG is available in the test servers and the game will leave Early Access on December 20th.

Hideo Kojima, the mastermind behind the Metal Gear Solid series, left Konami in 2015 and shortly thereafter announced that he was teaming up with Sony to bring his new title Death Stranding to life.

Thursday during The Game Awards in Los Angeles, as developers were being showered with well-deserved honors, other developers unveiled games that won't be out until next year or later.

It's not a huge selection, but the price, as they say, is right. Now, after being aquired by Google, developers Owlchemy Labs are back with Vacation Simulator which it describes thusly: "First you JOBBED, now you VACATION".

These are the news we had during the Game Awards 2017.

The co-op escape game (if you call it like that) A Way Out will be available on March 23, 2018 for Xbox One, PC and PS4.

The announcement by From Software, the studio behind the crushingly hard Dark Souls games, did not reveal much more than they are working on a new title.

Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild came away from The Game Awards 2017 with three big wins, scooping Best Action Adventure, Best Art Direction and Game of the Year. These trailers were mainly the new videos showcasing the upcoming games of 2018 and 2019.

Maybe next year, more award announcements can be embedded into the event to prevent mix-ups like this.
