Weather: The Next 10 Days

Highs stay in the 40s before cooling into the mid-20s for lows Thursday morning and highs in the upper-30s and low-40s finishing the 7-day Weather Smart Forecast.

There is a chance that it does not rain at all on Sunday due to the weak nature of the front.

SATURDAY: Mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies and cool temperatures develop for the afternoon, with a high of 54 degrees. Our highs climb into the mid 50s Saturday and near 60 on Sunday.

Look for a nice start to December with a mix of sun and clouds and highs in the mid 60s. Nights will be fair and cool with lows in the upper 40s and lower 50s for most locations.

Cooler Friday, Staying Mild For Weekend

We've got another sunny, dry stretch of weather in the coming days, and it should at least start off rather seasonal. Our temperatures do fall back below normal though and highs in the 30s to low 40s are likely Friday and next weekend. Additionally a brisk wind will pick up just before and after the front, with regular gusts over 20 miles per hour. Rain and snow chances are near zero, and skies clear.

Rain showers pushed in Thursday morning, and will linger through most of the day.

High clouds are forecast to be over our area Friday. Another cold front is making its way to Louisiana, and this time, the front will be much stronger.

Tuesday will also have a high in the low 60s. A few snow/rain showers may be possible as well due to a lingering front offshore and waves riding along it.
