Kushner Sends Records Related to Russia Probe to Special Counsel Mueller

Thanksgiving could be pretty tense at whatever Trump golf resort the first family chooses to celebrate the upcoming holiday.

The first charges in the Mueller probe have kindled talk of what the endgame for Trump looks like, according to conversations with a half-dozen advisers and friends of the president.

Beyond Vanity Fair's reporting, Trump has been portrayed as "seething" over the indictments of three associates, his former Campaign Chairman Paul Manafort, Manafort's deputy Rick Gates and an unpaid foreign policy adviser, George Papadopolous. However, in July, it was reported, and later Kushner confirmed, that he met Russian during Trump's presidential campaign, however, "did not collude with Russians".

Meanwhile, sources close to the White House told CNN that based on their knowledge, Kushner was not a target of Mueller's investigation. An NBC/Wall Street Journal poll released on Sunday put Mr. Trump's approval rating at 38 percent - the lowest for the survey since February, when he was a month into his presidency.

Until now, Robert Mueller has haunted Donald Trump's White House as a hovering, mostly unseen menace.

Former White House staff members-whether encamped at Breitbart News or anywhere else-are constrained by 18 USC 207, which governs "restrictions on former officers, employees, and elected officials of the executive and legislative branches".

Jared Kushner has turned over documents in recent weeks to special counsel Robert Mueller as investigators have begun asking in witness interviews about Kushner's role in the firing of FBI Director James Comey, CNN has learned.

Trump also told his longtime adviser Roger Stone that he agreed with Stone's assessment that Kushner was providing him bad political advice, someone familiar with the conversation told Vanity Fair. Former Trump campaign aide Sam Nunberg has also gone on the offensive against Kusher.

"Jared is the worst political adviser in the White House in modern history", he said. "I'm only saying publicly what everyone says behind the scenes at Fox News, in conservative media, and the Senate and Congress".

It is possible that the Vanity Fair story was planted by Bannon or Stone, in order to deflect from their responsibility for the Russian Federation scandal, .

As the Russian Federation probe intensifies, it has been reported that senior White House adviser and President Donald Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner has turned over documents in recent weeks to special counsel Robert Mueller. The president's son-in-law is not a subject of the ongoing investigation, the report added.

So that leaves Ivanka in a tough spot.

Thursday night on The Beat, Nunberg went even further.
