LG V30 Rolling Out with a Larger Optic Aperture

Another report claims that one of the cameras on the LG V30 will feature an aperture of f/1.6, potentially the widest of any smartphone camera. Every day we found some leak about the device on the web, Now according to the source LG V30 will go on sale on 15 september in Korea and on 28 September it will be launched in US. Dual cameras are likely to remain a feature, though unlike past years, we're not likely to see that dual-display which the earlier V models had.

Ahead of its official reveal at this year's IFA Conference on August 31st, LG's new V30 smartphone might have had its launch date leaked. Overall, the device looks very similar to the LG G6 and in terms of the performance, we expect it to perform equally good, if not better.

For European LG fans, there is no information yet on when preorders for the LG V30 will launch in the region. LG hopes that the LG V30 will be a better challenger to Samsung compared to the LG G6.

This move makes a lot of sense too - Samsung has its Note and Galaxy S lines, so why can't LG have two flagship brands? Like the G6, the V30 will have a 2:1 FullVision OLED Display and a rear mounted fingerprint scanner which doubles as the power key. It's also been rumored that the V30 may be disappointingly losing its secondary display as well as its removable battery.

Specification wise, LG V30 is expected to come with a 6-inch edge-to-edge OLED display with super thin bezels.

This extra large f/1.6 aperture will be available in the "normal" camera, i.e., the back camera, of the LG V30.

Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 CPU will nearly certainly feature, as will 6GB of RAM and, potentially, Android Oreo, though the latter aspect depends entirely on when Google releases the update.
