Reince Priebus' Days Are Numbered, Trump Allies Say

White House spokeswoman Sarah Sanders surprised those watching Wednesday's daily press briefing by sharing some personal information about herself and a letter she says is from a 9-year-old American named Dylan.

"The reason we're here is to serve the American people", said Sanders to kick off the briefing in what was a long prologue of POTUS-praising, letter-reading, Mom-commending and Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci-joshing.

In a written statement to USA Today Hatch went further than the other senators and suggested that transgender people should not only be allowed to serve, but that "t$3 ransgender people are people, and deserve the best we can do for them".

"There are going to be a lot of different ideas". He asked Trump several questions, including, "How much monny do you have?" and "can we be friends?"

She later stated, "The president, as always, enjoys a healthy competition". The Missouri Republican lobbied the White House in recent weeks to do something on the issue, a GOP congressional aide familiar with the situation told CNN.

President Donald Trump is barring transgender people from serving in the military "in any capacity". Huckabee Sanders added: "Dylan, I hope you're watching because the president wanted me to personally tell you hello".

"That's something that the Department of Defense and the White House will have to work together as implementation takes place as it is done so lawfully", Sanders said.

Members of the band Journey were just spotted in the White House briefing room.

CBS News's Margaret Brennan had tweeted earlier Thursday about eyeing some of Journey's members in the White House briefing room. On Wednesday night, Scaramucci had dinner at the White House with the president, first lady, Fox News' Sean Hannity and former Fox News executive Bill Shine, who was a close ally of the late Fox News founder Roger Ailes.

No one was even asking him to ban transgender troops.

He pointed to the President tweeting about Attorney General Jeff Sessions when the Senate was making progress on repealing Obamacare, and the President tweeting last month about something off-topic on the same day that the House passed an immigration bill known as "Kate's Law" that the administration supported.

"In February, President Trump made an unequivocal promise to the LGBT community to maintain existing federal non-discrimination protections", Schiff said. "So if Reince wants to explain he's not a leaker, let him do that".
