Defendant in Oregon stabbings pleads not guilty

For the second time since he allegedly murdered two men and seriously wounded a third on May 26, Jeremy Christian interrupted a court hearing with shouts this morning.

Taliesin Myrddin Namkai-Meche, a Reed College class of 2016 graduate, was one of the two people fatally stabbed while protecting the safety of others on the Portland, Oregon MAX train on Friday, May 26, 2017.

An Oregon grand jury on Tuesday returned a 15-count indictment against an ex-convict accused of harassing two African-American girls, one wearing a Muslim head scarf, then stabbing three men who intervened, killing two of them, aboard a Portland commuter train.

"Not guilty of anything but defending myself from violent aggression by Micah Fletcher!".

Micah Fletcher sits in court as Jeremy Christian shouts during a court appearance on Wednesday, June 7. He is charged with two cases of aggravated murder, one case of attempted murder, two cases of second degree intimidation (threating a person due to their race, color, religion, or sexual orientation), and one case of felony possession of a restricted weapon.

This fucking asshole's next court appearance is scheduled for 8:40 a.m. Wednesday in Multnomah County Circuit Court.

Dyjuana Hudson, the mother of one of the girls harassed, told The Oregonian her 16-year-old daughter, who is black, boarded the train with a Muslim friend, also a teenager, who was wearing a hijab. I couldn't find it. shocking that Facebook didn't ban him for the comments you have screenshots of.

It was also known, Christian have been in jail most of his adulthood, and all because of his hate speeches and his vicious views on people with religious beliefs, as it can be Muslims, Christians, Jews, and others.

The indictment adds new charges related to a separate incident that took place at a MAX train stop one day before the stabbings. Fletcher, 21, was stabbed in the neck but survived.

The indictment doesn't detail the incident that happened the day before the stabbings.

Citing video footage, prosecutors say Christian pushed Fletcher at one point, prompting Fletcher to push back.

Christian said at his May 30 court appearance that he was transient and "does not know the last time he had a permanent address".

Federal authorities are deciding whether to prosecute Christian for hate crimes.
