Brandy released from hospital and is now "at home resting", says rep

HipHollywood can confirm that Brandy Norwood was treated by paramedics on Friday morning after becoming unconscious on a Delta Airlines flight.

Brandy has been released from a hospital after passing out at a Los Angeles airport. "In recent days, she has taken more than 10 long-haul flights including internationally", Brandy's rep says.

Here's to hoping she makes a full recovery.

Brandy reportedly regained consciousness after she was removed from the plane.

A statement from Delta said the flight crew of flight 763 "returned to the gate, prior to departure, after a customer fell ill on board".

According to a report from TMZ, Brandy-who was traveling from LAX to JFK Friday-was in "stable" condition when taken to the hospital. "She will be relaxing for the next few days", the statement read.

Officers and paramedics responded to a report of a passenger who fell "unconscious or nearly unconscious" soon after boarding the plane.
