Aston Martin signs Tom Brady to multiyear endorsement deal

"Proud to announce my new partnership with [Aston Martin]!" Reichman is also the one responsible for the creative direction of their brand and model range. The auto company hopes Brady's presence will help build brand awareness, even if most fans of the quarterback couldn't fathom purchasing one of its vehicles. Aston Martin has signed Brady to a multi-year endorsement deal for a new upcoming model that will cost upwards of $200,000. If you thought the five-time Super Bowl champion already had it all, he does - but that doesn't stop him from adding to his collection.

According to ESPN, the announcement is a part of the brand's new initiative to include "a wider outreach and a greater diversification of its portfolio of cars". The NFL icon will be partnering up with Aston Martin to design 12 limited edition Aston Martin DB11s as the auto maker gears up for the subsequent release of the DB12. "As a long-time fan and driver, I am honored to join the Aston Martin team at this special moment in the company's history", he said in a statement.

When it comes to cars, Brady is clearly a gear head, owning or having owned a number of performance vehicles including a Rolls-Royce Ghost, Audi R8, and Bugatti Veyron.

Aston Martin only sells some 4,000 cars per year with a mere 1,000 of those being sold in the United States.
