Real Madrid star stalling on Man United move for these two reasons

Manchester United have reportedly struck an agreement with Real Madrid maestro James Rodriguez that will see Los Merengues' misfit move to Old Trafford at the end of this season.

Manchester United know that their hugely influential goalkeeper, David De Gea, is a long-term target of Spanish giants Real Madrid. The 31-year-old has a contract at Old Trafford until 2019, but has been phased out of the first-team by Mourinho this season, having started just 22 games in all competitions.

The Colombian forward had shown his displeasure earlier about not getting enough game time at Real Madrid and was eager to seal a deal away from the club this summer. And when the transfer window eventually opens in June, he will have no shortage of suitors vying for his signature.

James Rodriguez has fallen victim to the infamous transfer merry-go-round in recent months.

Gareth Bale is willing to move to Manchester United in the summer if Real Madrid finally decide to sell him.

United are aware of the interest from Madrid and manager Jose Mourinho has spoken with his player to make sure he is still focused on performing this season. The psychological side is even more prominent; bad spells are harder to recover from, whilst good spells often go unnoticed.

"I'm really, really, happy to bring a lot of United fans to Sweden, to Stockholm". The club have promised him the #10 jersey - which will be vacated by Wayne Rooney, who is leaving for Everton in the summer.

James is focused, like the other players in the squad, in winning the double of LaLiga and the Duodécima, the 12th European Cup, a double Real Madrid haven't won since 1958.

Casale, who has a huge following in South America, said Rodriguez has been open to moving clubs since December but decided last minute to try and make one more effort to impress Zidane.
